Lempad Tribute Museum
Dedicated to renowned Balinese sculptor and architect, I Gusti Nyoman Lempad (1862 -1978), this smart gallery exhibits a curated collection of artworks by the maestro himself. It was established to honour a visionary man who built many palaces and temples within the Ubud area, and played a vital role in preserving Bali’s creative heritage. Although Lempad forged close ties with numerous foreign artists, he never detracted from his creative vision and unique Balinese style. During the later years of his life, he created hundreds of linear drawings inspired by Hindu mythology and local folklore.
